Israeli occupation forces abducted, at dawn Thursday, dozens of Palestinians from their homes, and injured others in in various parts of the West Bank, according to local sources.
Israeli forces stormed the village of Jayyus, east of Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, and abducted four Palestinian young men after invading and searching their homes.
Soldiers abducted two brothers, Musab Shamasneh and Saeb Wael Shamasneh, in addition to Hakam Sidqi Salim and Amr Jihad Salim.
In the Jenin governorate, in the northern West Bank, occupation forces abducted seven Palestinian men, including three former prisoners, after invading and searching their homes.
Israeli soldiers stormed Burqin town, west of the city, invaded and searched the homes of former prisoner, Sultan Ahmed Mahmoud Khalaf, Hilal Muhammad Lotfi Khalouf, Ali Nayef Samara, Ali Jamal Khalouf and Aseel Bassam Ateeq, before abducting them.
According to Montaser Sammour, the director of the Jenin office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, soldiers abducted two more former prisoners Khaled Saleh Hussein Abu Zina, 62, from the Jenin refugee camp, and Bassem Hamdan Bani Odeh, from Tamun town southeast of Tubas, while they were present in Burqin town.
Also in the northern West Bank, occupation troops stormed Qabalan village, south of Nablus, and invaded and searched the home of Salama Salim Az’ar, before abducting him.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army injured two Palestinian young men, and abducted sixteen from various parts of the southern occupied West Bank governorate of Hebron.
According to Muhammad Awad, a local activist, Israeli forces launched a massive campaign in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, abducting sixteen young men, including at least three children, after invading and ransacking their homes.
Soldiers abducted Tariq Jamal Abu Mariya, 32, Muhammad Ezz al-Din Abu Mariya, 37, Zain Jawad Bahr, 25, Zain Jamal Moqbel, 24, Youssef Ahmed Sabarneh, 38, Yazan Wahib Ekhil, 14, Ahmed Karim Ekhil, 17, Hassan Walid Sabarneh, 18, Muhammad Nizam Ekhil, 21, Abdullah Muhammad Sabarneh, 23, Alaa Adi, 22, Qassam Ghazi Adi, 17, Muhammad Mahmoud Bahr, 26, and Mahdi Muhammad Abu Mariya, 18.
Awad added that local Palestinian youths protested the incursion into Beit Ummar, which soldiers responded to by firing rubber-coated steel rounds and tear gas canisters.
Soldiers shot and injured two young men and caused dozens of others to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
Soldiers stormed Al-Samou town, south of the city, and Beit Ula town to the northwest, and abducted Nour Muhammad Mufleh Al-Za’arir and Muhammad Ali Mahmoud Al-Saraheen, after invading and searching their homes.
Furthermore, on Wednesday evening, occupation forces invaded the Fattouh area in Yatta town, south of Hebron, and abducted Muhammad Iyad Abu Zahra, 18, after they stormed and searched his family home.
